THE HOME OF THE SAINTS
The St George Saints are an integral part of the local St George population, which covers two local Council areas: Georges River Council and Bayside Council. We have a history of over 40 years of giving back to the local community, and over the years have provided thousands of local youth the opportunity to play basketball and develop both their basketball skills and build their character.

The Saints motto is “Honour. Integrity. Respect”, and our aim is to produce not just better basketball players, but better people. We are proud of the many strengths and differences of our members, and embrace diversity in our managers, coaches and playing community. St George Basketball is a family – the welfare and futures of our members are at the centre of everything we do, and we strive to develop our players from Learn to Play classes to Senior Representative level, growing our association along with them.
The Saints are run by an entirely volunteer staff, a passionate and dedicated board, and even though we don’t have our own facility (something we’ve been chasing for over 20 years), we work hard to provide the best basketball experience for every player we encounter. Whilst we may be a small association, we have big hearts, and big dreams – and we encourage our players to be the best they can be, both on the court and off – to chase their goals, but remain loyal, committed and passionate about basketball and the Saints.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
Only register if your current registration has already expired and you are about to participate in one of our SAINTS competitions or, are registering for the first time and have been placed into a team and about to start playing.
Secondary / Affiliation Registration: Note if you have a valid annual registration at another Basketball NSW association you only need to pay the Affiliation Fee.
Become a member or renew your SGBA registration
All players need to be registered to compete in St George Basketball competitions. Please do not renew or take out another registration if you already have a current registration with Saints.
